Hello lovely followers 🙂 I hope you are enjoying the warmth as it drifts in after what felt like an endless winter. (If you are in the Southern hemisphere, I hope it is cooling off to the blissful in-between stage – the perfect temperature).

Now that the seasons are changing for the better in my neck of the woods, I have been in search of some new things to enjoy. Music, activities, food and to make it better, we are finally on the other side of lockdown. As you saw from my last post, I have already had my first post lockdown date which was a lot of fun (and may come to something special, we shall see).
Just this week, I was introduced to the wonderful music from Chloe Caroline. I am blown away and already hooked. Got her stuff playing in the background as I am writing this post. If you are looking for someone new to listen to which is chilled and relaxed, she is your girl.
I have been struggling with reading material inspiration lately and it has been driving me up the wall. I love to read every night in bed before I go to sleep and everything I was trying just didn’t hit the spot for me. As I writing this, it’s Thursday and just last night I picked a proven writer I like Nora Roberts and starting reading one her books, Under currents. Only a few chapters in and I am hooked.. Thank heavens for the end of my lack of reading materials.. I was going insane. Do you have any other suggestions you can give because I already know I will devour this book very fast?? I like romance, mystery, cozy mystery, those kinds of genres.
If you are anything like me, you need your TV programs to keep you sane!! Recently I have gained access to Disney + and WOW there is so much on there and it’s not all cartoons like you might think. I started watching a show called Quantico, about a trainee FBI agent and the mess that she seems to find herself in after she leaves the training facility. I cannot recommend it enough, you need to stay focused through it but it is so worth it. As a more fun easy going program, I have also been watching the Bold Side on Netflix, about a fashion publication and the girls who work there and their lives. A real feel good relaxing program.
Can you believe, I am in my late 20s and I have only recently discovered the joys of Twitter😱? It never really excited me before. I read a blog post my the wonderful Olivia Lucie Blake, and the twitter icon caught my eye. I had only just reactivated my account and revamped it for my virtual assistant business, but I could also connect with other blogger as well. I jumped straight on that and created a blogger profile and now I spend more time on Twitter than anything else. (Sometimes even procrastinate work because I’m in the middle of a Twitter convo). If you are on this glorious platform and want to follow me, my handle is @fire_to_phoenix. I’d love to connect with you there as well.
There is something new I have ventured into that is very exciting but I’m going to keep you waiting to find out about that one until it is ready to be announced 🙂 Gotta keep you on the edge of seat and coming back for more.
I would love hear all about any new experiences you have discovered as the seasons are changing and bringing new and exciting things. (And please don’t forget to send me book recommendations, this girl needs her books!!!). Also, please pass on the outdoor activity recommendations, now that the sun is out I need to be out there soaking up the Vit D.
Until next time…

Sounds like you have lots of new things going on! I used to enjoy Twitter quite a bit when it first launched!
I read Where The Crawdads Sing and Before We Were Yours during lockdown last year, and they were both so good! Also really enjoyed watching Wandavision on Disney+.
Great suggestions thank you I will check them out ☺️
