Where is the dress?? – Being obsessed with something

Posted on September 21, 2021September 21, 2021 by debs92

I was waiting for a bus to take me to work one morning and across the road in the window of a charity/opp shop that hadn’t opened yet, stood a beautiful and colourful dress in the 1950s style. To say I love the 50s fashion is an understatement. I even used it a few times… Continue reading

Radical Roaring 20s

Posted on August 4, 2021 by debs92

There are 2 eras in the 20th century that I would have done anything to live in because of the fashion, music and dancing. One of those eras was of course the roaring 20s. The history of the era The Roaring 20s was a period of great change. The First World War had just ended… Continue reading

My story

My name is Debs and thank you for checking out my little corner of the bloggersphere. I’ll start off with telling you a little bit about myself.

I grew up in Zimbabwe (Southern part of Africa) and went to dance school before realising the performing world wasn’t so much for me. Too cut throat if you ask me. I moved overseas after uni and tried a few different jobs while trying to find myself, before settling on owning my own business and working as a Virtual Assistant.

I discovered the glorious world of blogging for myself in November 2020, and what started as a blog to go along side my business became a lifestyle blog and my escape away for the tough side of life.

I hope you enjoy what you read here :)

Quotes from my favs

Walt Disney

It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.

J. K. Rowling

Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.

Dr. Seuss
